The Tout’s tips for the 2015 Cheltenham Festival
Winter is over and the Cheltenham Festival starts in the Spring sunshine on Tuesday. This is one of the great spectacles of the year and it is set in front of a most knowledgeable and enthusiastic sporting crowd who make their annual pilgrimage to Prestbury Park.
Winners are not easy to come by here with horses and jockeys stretched to the limit and you can be sure that the main players Mullins, Henderson, Nicholls and Hobbs will have their teams primed to the moment.
I have set out to try to find winners from these selections and my suggestions are as follows:
– Faugheen in The Champion Hurdle.
– Eesdale in The Grand Annual Chase.
– Dodging Bullets in The Champion Chase.
– Pile On The Pressure in The Champion Bumper.
– Pendra in The Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge.
– Many Clouds in The Gold Cup.
Enjoy the occasion and remember to follow trainers in form all week as that is one of the keys to success at this prestigious meeting.
