Saturday’s Mail Online reported that the Court of Appeal has rejected an appeal by property investors Amanda Clutterbuck and Ian Paton to seek the return of six properties in Chelsea and Knightsbridge that they believe they were duped into signing over to Sara Al-Amoudi, a woman nicknamed the Vamp in the Veil and a woman whom once told a court that she had spent the ludicrous sum of £912,000 on perfume in just two months.
Featured extensively in The Steeple Times since 2013 and the subject of a profile after our editor, Matthew Steeples, encountered and observed her bizarre antics at a cocktail party, Miss Al Amoudi (or whatever her name might be) is most definitely an oddity but equally Ms Clutterbuck and Mr Paton ought to be castigated for their utter stupidity and sheer greed. Who on earth would sign over £14 million worth of assets without ensuring they were protected? This tawdry trio frankly deserve one another. Though we hope this is the last we hear of this avaricious trio, we doubt that this will be the case. Watch this space: Perfectly timed to accompany Halloween, the Vamp on the Veil will soon be back on the prowl.
