Good God! Them! I recall them moaning when anything more modern than Cliff Richard was played. A true pair of killjoys and about the only thing about La Brasserie I don’t miss.
The 90 year old cafe owner Arthur Woodham was anything but a fan of these two. He cringed whenever they came in on a Saturday and he thought them proper miseries.
My wife and I remember them. They told us off once for making too much noise!
They certainly did not like Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance.
