As a further £154,000 is handed to the police, is it right that £11 million has been allocated to searching for Madeleine McCann whilst the searches for other missing people get little to nothing?
A child supposedly disappears every five minutes in the UK yet the only instance the media ever focus on is Madeleine McCann.
Having hung out with Donald Trump’s bestie Theresa May and the equally ghastly Lady Meyer in Downing Street in May 2012 plainly helped the cause of Gerry and Kate McCann. Police investigating the case have just been awarded a further £154,000 in addition to a sum of £85,000 in March this year. A total of over £11 million has been spent thus far on the unsuccessful search for the child and what has been achieved? The answer is clear: Absolutely nothing.
Whatever the merits of the suggestions of those who’ll continue to claim that any lead is worth pursuing, one needs to remember that every pound allocated to looking for one child that disappeared in 2007 is a pound that could be used to fund the search of another investigation. Undoubtedly now, given that no tangible evidence has been found that Madeleine McCann is still alive, it is time for this plainly pointless search to stop.
Missing Madeleine – Questions without Answers
Many questions about what happened on the evening of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann remain. Some that have been highlighted by the press and discussed online include:
Why did Kate McCann refuse to answer 48 questions put to her by the Portuguese police?
Why were certain records of phone calls on the evening of the disappearance “whoosh-clunked” from the memories of the phones of Mr and Mrs McCann and the ‘Tapas 9’?
Why did a British sniffer dog sense the smell of a corpse in a cupboard in the apartment from which Madeleine McCann disappeared?
Why did a sniffer dog also supposedly sense the smell of a corpse in a vehicle hired by the couple a month after the disappearance of their daughter?
Why did Mr and Mrs McCann go jogging and play tennis in the days after their daughter’s disappearance?
Was it acceptable for Mr and Mrs McCann’s mortgage to be paid by the fund established to search for their missing daughter?
£11 million? Are you serious? That’s sick.

Your sickness is clear. Dear Gerry and Kate are doing all they can to find their beloved daughter Madeleine and you join those piling on misery onto this incredibly generously wonderful couple. Why don’t you do the right thing and start supporting FIND MADELEINE. We need to carry on forever and stop writing about expensive cars and houses and focus on the most important issue of the modern era – FIND MADELEINE, FIND HER NOW!
Gillian dear, I have been looking at the 48 questions and I see question 2 was “Did you search inside the master bedroom wardrobe?”
This seems a simple question requiring either “yes” or “no” Maybe you can throw some light on why dear Kate refused to answer it – Can you help us on this?
I would imagine the man (there are passengers of other genders, of course) on the Clapham Omnibus, would draw only 1 conclusion from these refusals to answer straightforward questions.
Perhaps therefore the £154,000 is just for a series of beanos, piss ups and “duty frees” for the rozzers
Why are the pair incredibly generous? They pursued the wonderful policeman Goncalo Amaral to the point of ruination before eventually losing their case and now being responsible for the court costs that maybe something like £750k. Why? Because he clearly stated MM was not abducted and died at the hands of her parents. I don’t believe that finding MM is the most important issue of the modern era when stopping the NKors might be a prority, and I doubt if she is in a condition that her discovery would be pleasant. As Matthew says they were happy to fund their mortgage and have carried out no searches at all-not even from the start- unless you could call Gerry’s documented attendance, stumbliing around on the beach, shouting out “Maddie” while clutching another bottle of wine as a search; and that was on top of what KM says they had once the PJ had left. I and others will continue to pile misery onto them until they deliver something approaching the truth or until the truth becomes more apparent.

Gillian Trott and Lady Meyer are the ones who should be ashamed of themselves for supporting a duo who couldn’t be bothered to pay for child care. The McCanns should have been charged with neglect.
The McCanns should be jailed.
Matthew, Has the person who writes as Gillian Trott ever tried to answer any of the questions you pose? There are the questions about the case, of course, but also the paying of their mortgage out of public funds.
Mrs Trott is only capable of repetition. She has a one track mind.
