It’s NOT A Knockout, It’s An Utter Disgrace: Stuart Hall gets just 15 months
Paedophile Stuart Hall, 83, will be out for Christmas. Today the monster (whom the BBC continue to describe as a “veteran presenter”) was jailed for just 15 months on 14 counts of indecent assault. One of his victims was just nine years old.
For once I find myself in agreement with Harriet Harman who took to Twitter to express concern about the length of the sentence of the monster Hall. In a tweet, the Labour politician suggested the sentence was “unduly lenient”. She is right. The book should have been chucked at this revolting old creep.

What most are forgetting is that the maximum sentence he could receive on most counts was two years and I believe five years on possibly two – he had to be sentenced under the legislation that was in force at the time he committed the offences. Nor could the judge have simply run the sentences together consecutively as it would have blown the totality principle out of the water. I doubt the AG will refer this to the CoA and even if he does it is unlikely the sentence will be increased.
He shoulds have received the maximum sentence , he got away with a minimum , such leniency is suspect and questionnable
