It used to be ‘leaves on the line’, now it’s ‘sunburnt roads’
As ever, there’s always an excuse and when, today, an AA spokesman announced that the reason that parts of the M25 had been closed was because Britain is currently experiencing ‘sunburnt roads’, we had to laugh.
The excuse for delays on the railways is often ‘leaves on the line’ but this is a new one on us. Perhaps it is time to send out gritters with a difference. Have them spray the roads with factor 30.
