Reassessing immigration

Henry Irwin Pesch reviews ‘D’ORA: The Romanian Immigrant’

D’ORA by Delia Antal is not just another film. No, it’s not a film made by some amateur looking to get into the film business. It’s not the story about Romanian immigrants or any other stereotype you have in mind right now. What do you think of when you hear of a Romanian who comes to London? And when that Romanian comes over with their whole family and friends? Yes, I know what you’re thinking and I thought the same too too until I saw a film that changed part of my life.

I’ll tell you what it is about. It is film about conquering your own human fears and overcoming your weaknesses. It is about the price we have to pay for following our dreams until we succeed. This film has versatility and depth behind a simple story line plot. If D’ORA can do it, why can’t you? Come on inside and watch the movie my dear brothers and sisters and you’ll see.

    1. This country cannot cope with further inflows of people. Bright Romanians should stay in Romania and help to dynamise their own country. The same applies to all other struggling economies. Running away is not good patriotism
