The worst property particulars ever?
Estate agents often use clever photography to promote properties and urge sellers to tidy up and brew hot coffee before viewings. The brochure for a one bedroom flat in Stanhope Gardens in London’s South Kensington, however, is an example where an agent has done anything but.
The Knightsbridge office of Hamptons are indeed honest in describing the £595,000 904 square foot basement flat as being “completely unmodernised” but we are surprised they didn’t ask the sellers to get in Rentokil prior to the visit of their photographer.
Images of the property show amongst other things discarded paperwork, cutlery, a single shoe, a computer monitor and dirty bed sheets. Surely Hamptons would have been doing more of a service to their client if they’d instead just opted to share a picture of the exterior.

It gives the appearance of a Houses under the Hammer Photo shoot. Very Thanet area style, not for the bargain hunter.
What a dump. Is it where Nigel Farage is REALLY hanging out?
Red, I don’t think you could even afford a couple of minutes in that dump, so join me in Margate. I will rent you a dump where you can shit against the walls, free expression for you Liberals…
There is probably a very sad story behind this appalling spectacle
The person who does the right thing, and makes it fabulous, will erase this nightmare scenario and make money into the bargain
Pip pip
What is it with all the notes on the walls? Something odd went on down there. Probably haunted.
What a hovel. It’s on a short lease too. Forget it.
