Bin Boris

Section:

Sir Max Hastings perfectly sums up the car crash of a man that is Boris Johnson; elsewhere the public say they wouldn’t buy a used car from the wannabe Conservative leader

In a quote widely shared on social media, the former editor of the Daily Telegraph, Sir Max Hastings, completely slaughtered his former employee Boris Johnson. In it, he remarked:

“Boris is a gold medal egomaniac… His chaotic public persona is not an act – he is, indeed, manically disorganised about everything except his own image management. He is also a far more ruthless, and frankly nastier, figure than the public appreciates… I would not take Boris’s word about whether it is Monday or Tuesday… He is not a man to believe in, to trust or respect, save as a superlative exhibitionist. He is bereft of judgment, loyalty and discretion. Only in the star-crazed, friviolous Britain of the 21st century could such a man have risen so high, and he is utterly unfit to go higher still.”

Sir Max hits the nail on the head: Boris Johnson – a man whom six out of ten voters said they wouldn’t buy a used car from – must be stopped.

From ‘The Times’ – Most people, it seems, wouldn’t want to buy a used car from Boris Johnson.

  1. Does the steeple times ever wonder if they are a contributor to the brexit problem of not being able to reach a solution by writing and repeating words like these about poeple without opportunity for rebuttal?

    • You’ve been allowed your comment. How is that stiffling to debate (even if what you write sounds just ridiculous)?

      • Since you ask…I see a lot of ad hominem attacks and strawman arguments.

I love a good name calling seesion as much as anyone but it tends to just make progress more difficult and does the opposite of inform people.
