Hull woman complains to local newspaper about a mural that she believes features someone fondling Jesus’s genitals
Where most people see a mural featuring “hardworking” local people “going about their everyday lives in times gone by,” Rose White sees demons, Jehovah’s Witnesses and the “abuse of children.”
In comments to Grimsby Live, the Hessle resident spoke about artwork on buildings and claimed they were “demonic” and “pornographic.” Going further as part of what the paper termed a “rant” about the “innocuous-looking work[s] of art,” White claimed:
“The artist seems to be addicted to subliminal images. The artist painted the steering person with one hand behind back as though fondling Jesus’s genitals? Is that supposed to be an allusion to claims that Jesus was homosexual? And the demon face on the left shoulder? And the many demon faces in clouds?”
“I only recently moved into Hessle and use the 57 bus that passes the mural though it’s only last couple of journeys that I’ve managed to spot the subliminals. I think that this mural needs painting over or at least all the demons need obliterating.”

Well she’s right, it’s obvious, Jesus is giving the sailor boy a good serving on the bridge as he struggles to keep the fruit sloop on a straight course.
I would suggest this nutter catches the number 58 instead.
