Is Tom Bower’s latest tome ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors’ actually going to be that revealing? Will it actually pull any punches or is it just a rehash of old news?
Dubbed on the cover of Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors as “Britain’s top investigative journalist,” Tom Bower is known for his punchy unauthorised autobiographies of the likes of rambunctious rotters including Mohamed Al-Fayed, Sir Richard Branson, Boris Johnson and Robert Maxwell.
Sued for libel unsuccessfully for Lord (Conrad) Black prior to his being sent down for fraud yet cooperative and seemingly very friendly with Bernie Ecclestone, “Witchfinder General of contemporary biographers” Bower’s book has – in extracts shared thus far by The Times – focused on information such as that the Queen supposedly did not want the Duchess of Sussex at her husband’s Prince Philip’s funeral and that both Prince Harry and his wife have been repeatedly “hysterical.”
Hardly new ‘news’ in the sense that these “bombshell stories” have previously been repeatedly discussed online previously, such information as that “Meghan Markle ‘threw a cup of tea in the air’ and was ‘abrasive’ during [a] royal tour” is now doing the round. Of this, without naming the victim of the char chucking, Bower opines:
“Meghan was allegedly abrasive towards her four female staff and even towards the local British diplomats.”
“According to one report, Meghan allegedly threw a cup of tea into the air. Her anger may have been partly fuelled by Harry.”
“Every night he trawled social media, searching for snide comments on the internet. Every morning he and Meghan turned on their phones to surf the Internet.”
Speaking of his book to Times Radio two days ago, Bower added:
“H&M have set themselves up as judge and jury of the RF. Everything they do is to provoke and undermine and to challenge. My book is not gossip and speculation because it is sourced. You can’t imagine how much I didn’t print. The sources are identified, nearly 1000 sources are listed.”
“I have worked really hard to make sure it everything is accurate. There is very little in this book which is gossip and where there is, it is headlined as gossip.”
“I think the reader will come away with a vision of Harry and Meghan which is very different to the one they are accustomed to so far.”
Today, as self-proclaimed “global humanitarian” Prince Harry is set to give another no doubt self-serving speech at the United Nations in New York to mark Nelson Mandela Day, his wife is said to be “dreading” publication of the book in three days. Coming after her attempt to stop her half-sister suing her for defamation was unsuccessful, one, however, is left wondering whether Bower’s really will turn the screw or whether it’ll be left to another biographer to finally expose the truth about ‘Meddling MeGain’ and her drip of a husband’s ridiculous antics.
Tom Bower’s Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors will be released on 21st July 2022 in hardback form.
Even if it won’t be the definitive book highlighting their awfulness, it’ll do until such book is published.
Eh, too soon to tell. All the little drips and drabs given to the papers so far are just meant to tantalize and sell books —he was never going to reveal anything big until the books hit the proverbial shelves.
I do think he is the kind of dogged researcher people would dread writing about them. Probably leaves few stones unturned and if it’s out there, he’ll find it. How much he exposes probably depends more on whatever loyalty people have to the Sussexes rather than any lack of drive on his part. This may be the time the dastardly duo regret all the people they’ve cut off and cast aside on their climb. Will they really have any incentive to keep quiet now?
Bower also knows the law and is meticulous about not running afoul of it. The Sussex go-to of suing likely won’t work, or if they DO, will end in a dry hole for them.
I’ll definitely be reading it.
I will wait, as I’m sure millions will be, for my pre- ordered copy to arrive.
If Bowers did indeed get to speak with people Meghan interacted with throughout her life that alone should make for an interesting read. I’m looking very forward to immersing myself in this novel and hope everyone gets to feel at least some vindication where Nutmeg’s awful personality is concerned. The beans really do need to be spilled!
We pretty much knew mattress actress ie the devil’s daughter was a horrible person & big time bully. Whew,bet she’s breaking dishes now. “Duck Harry”! Someone should do a welfare check on those children. Where the heck ARE those children? I saw a post that said a surrogate was used. Now, I completely know why the British public ie taxpayers demand answers. Some British lady told a youtuber the pic of Lillibucks was Harry. ONLY parents in my 72 years on earth thatm I’ve ever seen parents never take their children anywhere. Nobody in CA has ever seen them except ellen &, I certainly wouldn’t believe much of anything she says. She & is a bully like mattress actress. The child in that images looks more like an 18 month old. Now Susan, you little shill don’t bother telling me to leave the children out because,nothing I’ve posted about those children is negative nor will it ever be. First three chapters have bored me to tears.

In America Harry is being dubbed fuzz ball. Some guy said she looks like she had a bad boob job &, they look like inverted carrots. Not too nice but hey, not nearly as bad as what them & their vile violent As have done to people. 🤐
