The lights need not be turned out after Britain rejected Labour and the Liberal Democrats
Nick Clegg declared it had been a “cruel and punishing night” for the Liberal Democrats whilst Labour’s Ed Miliband’s pledge stone was toppled; Britain has spoken and with a David Cameron led Conservative government on the way, the country is back on track.
Despite pollsters having banged on about yet more coalitions for the last weeks, the public thought otherwise and that just 3 million people backed UKIP spoke volumes also. Sense has returned to British politics and alongside Miliband’s Mansion Tax being bulldozed, George Galloway and Mark Reckless have been erased and defeated.
The problems on the horizon? Katie Hopkins – who promised to quit Britain if Labour won – won’t have to leave Britain and has joked she will become “David Cameron’s new Fat Tsar”, Theresa May will likely remain as Home Secretary and Nicola Sturgeon’s smug face has just got smugger. God help us all and well done David Cameron.

With this decisive victory, David Cameron must now do more to help dear Gerry and Kate McCann in their efforts to find their beloved daughter Madeleine McCann. You couldn’t just say well done, you couldn’t just leave this one alone! .. Tell me why does the Home Secretary have to do anything? .. They have had £10 Million of public money spent on getting nowhere closer than what we already knew 7 years ago! .. What is it that you seem to think you know more about their case than the Portuguese police, the Met Police and Scotland Yard? .. Please tell me why you are so convinced and seem to hit every single news thread with helping the “Dear McCann’s”? ….. There is not one single shred of evidence to support any sort of break-in, burglary or abduction, so tell me how you know this happened? … Are you on their payrole or how you are funded?
This is about the conservatives winning a majority in an election most had pinned down to a draw! Well done Cameron on what must have been a very compelling campaign!
