Matthew Steeples suggests that it is action rather than talks that are required in the case of Julian Assange
Ricardo Patino, Ecuador’s foreign minister, has requested talks with his British counterpart William Hague regarding the situation created by Julian Assange moving himself into their embassy in London. This, frankly, is not required.
It is Mr Assange himself who chose to skip bail and “hole” himself up in the Ecuadorean embassy in Knightsbridge and rather than talking about his case, Mr Patino should simply go there and tell the Wikileaks founder to leave. That is the only conversation that is required.

Very interesting perspective, Matthew. Looking forward to more reports on controversial issues in international politics…
