Financier Gina Miller shows her crusading spirit in an interview with the FT
Gina Miller, a founding partner of SCM and a campaigner against hidden fund charges, isn’t afraid to put her head above the parapet and in a frank feature published by the FT on Sunday 24th April, she once again highlighted her crusading spirit.
In the ‘Face to Face’ interview by Chris Newlands, 51-year old Miller highlighted how she’s stood up to racism and sexism in the City and that she even got the nickname ‘the black widow spider’ for it.
The creator of the True and Fair Campaign in 2012, Miller claimed she “[doesn’t] mind being a lone figure” and feels she is “doing something right for investors”. She truly is and it is time that more in the City followed her lead; it is time for transparency and time that regulators stopped protecting their own.

Never afraid to tell it like it is… It is just a shame that she has to keep on say it again and again. It is time the boys started listening.
She has good teeth. But “Hero of the hour”? Yawn.
Gina Miller has stood up for investors and exposed the extremely high charges funds take from the public. She is doing a great service and yes, in my view, she is heroic. You ought to look her up on Google. Here is a lady who isn’t afraid to take flack and here is someone I would have thought you’d have joined with me in celebrating.
Blah. Blah.
You are entitled to your opinion but in this case you are simply wrong.
What! Wrong to have an opinion. You must be joking!
I respect your right to think whatever you want but in the case of Gina Miller, I think you ought to see the good she’s doing before making such observations. There are plenty of people worthy of negativity but I cannot see how Gina fits into this category.
Definitely a hero!
