Two very different society gatherings
Tuesday night in London was a busy one. Gina and Alan Miller’s foundation, Miller Philanthropy, hosted a hugely successful charity concert at the Cadogan Hall, whilst former Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg held a party at The Serpentine Gallery.
Whilst the Miller concert celebrated supporting the disadvantaged in our society was truly a spectacular showcase, the Bloomberg gathering attracted a very different kind of guest. Spotted arguing at the doorway was the recently convicted criminal Marie-Claire, Baroness von Alvensleben.
A source – who preferred not to be named – told The Steeple Times:
“Von Alvensleben kept telling a door girl that she was press and once in certainly enjoyed a drink or two. Whilst she may have her name on the list of patrons of the gallery, she certainly isn’t someone anyone ought to invite anymore. I am Jewish and I do not like keeping the company of racists. I left the event in disgust”.
Our source is quite right. This horrific bigot deserves to be shunned by polite society. Alan and Gina Miller, by contrast, ought to be honoured and celebrated.

here here! wonderful event Gina and Alan. I am still humming the little ditty, ‘I used to sell dope, now I sell hope…’ :)) and the wonderful rendition of that well known classic ‘I like my butt..” You got some very well heeled types to stand up and wiggle to that one.
I have been a friend of Marie-Claire and many years, and hand on heart, she is not racist. It’s easy to read a one-sided review from the press and make up your mind, but, I’ve known her for 20yrs and she’s no racists.
You plainly did not read the statement by the judge and you plainly don’t know her well at all. Marie-Claire has an acidic tongue and referred to my Jewish friend as “a pig” in front of me. She needs a dose of carbolic soap.
