Leading party crasher David Pun shares details of his surprisingly impressive at an event in Central London
Last night in London, David Pun unsurprisingly managed to crash a party but what was especially interesting was the level of detail about his career that he was prepared to share with a reader of The Steeple Times.
At the event, the man with a Twitter handle – @Wheresthepun?, captioned: “Any party, anywhere” – devoted to his antics proudly referenced being a “leading architect” whose credits have included Peninsula Hotels in Paris and Shanghai. He supposedly also claimed to be a consultant to his cousin, the owner of Harvey Nichols, and an international businessman as well.
When approached for comment, the organiser of the event remarked: “He was not invited” and added: “I told another of his number – The Julian Assange lookalike – to leave earlier as he was not invited either”.
They say that “where there’s a Pun, there’s a party” but now, one might also encounter a rather impressive CV.

He always talks about The Peninsula Hotels but when I asked him if he’d invite me to parties there, he said he couldn’t yet as he is just too busy in London. Strangely I see him everywhere I go and always with a glass in his hand and when PRs are asked how he got in, they express surprise and fury. He is a truly strange fish.
Where do you go to my lovely, I want to look inside your head –
These people are certifiable – what is their purpose?
Clap them in irons
I am amazed Rod from Melbourne doesn’t have a view on Pun: after all, though living a tediously boring life in the outback he seems to have a view on London social life
