Queen Anne house in South Yorkshire for sale for punchy sum of £1.2 million
An architecturally striking four-storey Queen Anne house in South Yorkshire is for sale for £1.2 million ($1.6 million, €1.4 million or درهم5.7 million) in spite of standing on a small plot that is overlooked by its now converted former outbuildings.
Originally built circa 1720 and Grade II listed since 1968, The Hall at High Hoyland, near Barnsley is built of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and has a stone slate roof. It has many original features, provides 4 reception rooms, 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and has gardens to both front and rear.
The Hall is offered by the England Residential Estate Agency.
What a shame it has lost the buildings that once went with it. Very expensive given it is in the northern reaches also.
It has charm but the decoration is very pedestrian.
The price is insane. I Google mapped it. It’s no rural idyll.
Why have you not published an essay about ROLF HARRIS BEING INNOCENT? Seriously wrong to give space to this and not the real news: ROLF WILL BE CLEARED OF ALL CHARGES AND PARDONED FOR THE OTHERS. He did nothing wrong. Never, ever, never.
Wrong location location location.
The house is perfect !! You can always plant tall trees round the property !!
Sadly, I don’t think the neighbours would allow that and the neighbours really are incredibly close – especially to the left.
How can anyone object to trees ????
