Rare Jaguar XJS Lynx Eventer comes to the market
The Lynx Eventer, a conversion of a Jaguar XJS into a shooting brake, is said to be “highly regarded in pistonhead circles”. One of just 67 built has just come up for sale through KWE Jaguars.
Described as being in “top condition”, this particular 1982 5.3-litre car has the serial number 29 and has recently been refinished in sapphire blue and retrimmed with new leather, carpets, woods and alcantara headling.
Priced at £75,000, this rare vehicle is set to become a future classic. Given that a standard XJS, however, can be had for as little as £2,995, you’d have to be a true Jaguar obsessive to purchase this fine vehicle.
