Penthouse formerly owned by Hugh Grant for sale
The Harrington Road area of South Kensington used to be considered the rather scruffy poor neighbour of grand streets like Onslow Square and Queen’s Gate. Now, thanks in part to visionaries such as Luca Del Bono – whose South Kensington Club is due to open in 2015 – and Manhad Narula – whose ‘art hotel’ The Exhibitionist opened last month – the area is getting a mini-makeover and being taken upmarket. An astounding example of this effect is shown in the circa £12 million asking price of a three bedroom penthouse apartment in Petersham House, diagonally opposite the South Kensington Club premises.
Owned by Hugh Grant between 2002 and 2003 (he paid £3.25 million for it and sold it for £3.5 million), the seventh floor property on offer through agents Knight Frank has a total floor space of 4,665 square foot including 1,600 square foot of outside space. It is a true bachelor pad with just one large bedroom suite and two far smaller suites. The highlight, however, is a 30-foot by 26-foot reception room and having recently been restyled, it now benefits from dark American walnut flooring, marble bathrooms and seven custom-made chandeliers.
Luxury abounds and amongst the features of the apartment are a six person Jacuzzi, a state-of-the-art gym and a number of 50” Loewe televisions. This, it has to be said, is a penthouse that is now more Patrick Bateman or Gordon Gekko than Hugh Grant in terms of its style and this is an area that is set to become rather a happening in the coming months.

I wish I had £12 million to spare.
Hugh Grant {EDITED] he pockets all his earnings. He is the type who dresses in a Dick Tracy mackintosh and hat and walks the High Strret in pursuit of free crumpet. That is why Grant can afford to pay £12 million for a pad. He pays for nothing………
Hugh also dated the Goldsmith goose, the man is like a parasite, a real free loader. He will end his last days like Hugh Hefner, nothing but a useless flaccid [EDITED].
