Suite at New York hotel The Plaza available for £2.6 million – the catch: you can only use it 120 days per year
The fictional character Eloise is undoubtedly the most famous permanent hotel resident ever but now those with £2.6 million ($3.95 million) to spare could follow her lead and take up residence at The Plaza in New York.
The 905 square foot apartment on offer includes an entry foyer, a living room with a decorative marble fireplace, a wet bar, a powder room, a dressing room, a large bedroom with a dressing area and a bathroom with a “deep soaking tub” and separate shower. It has just been completely renovated, features “elaborate moldings [sic]” and “rich finishes and décor” and enjoys “views of the park and an abundance of light”.
The purchaser of the apartment will have access to it for 120 days per year on a flexible access basis whilst it is rented out to hotel guests for the remaining 245 days. Included in the price are butler and concierge services, twice-daily housekeeping and turndown services and access to the La Palestra Fitness centre.
Aspiring Eloises should contact exclusive selling agent Emir Bahadir of RLTYNYC.

Very stylishly decorated. Classy,, in fact.
I thought it looked a trifle common….especially, what you probably call the lounge
