An invitation to the London finale of John Agard’s new satire
Readers of The Steeple Times are invited to ‘Puff’, a new play by John Agard, on Wednesday 9th July at London’s newest literary and arts private members’ club, LIBRARY on St Martin’s Lane courtesy of Andrew Hancock and ARTNAKED.
A satirical imagining of the flirtations between Elizabeth I and Sir Walter Raleigh, ‘Puff’ is written in verse and is described as being set in the “Elizabethan period of enchantment with the wonders of the New World, including tobacco”.
Witty in style, the play also engages with “issues of contemporary relevance such as identity and diversity”.
Standing tickets are available for £9.50 whilst seated tickets are available for £16.50. Ticket holders must be aged 18 or over. LIBRARY is situated at 112 St Martin’s Lane, London, WC2N 4BD.
