Lieutenant Governor of California Gavin Newsom takes to Facebook to describe Donald Trump as “offensive and dangerous”
On Thursday, Donald Trump suffered another blow when the 49th and current lieutenant governor of California and 42nd Mayor of San Francisco Gavin Newsom took to Facebook to announce he’d be doubling the funds donated by the wannabe President of the United States of America and giving them to charity.
In his post, Newsom remarked:
“Donald Trump’s rhetoric — especially regarding immigrants — is offensive and dangerous. While many people see his candidacy as a joke, given his recent position in the GOP presidential polls, it is clear that his thoughts are gaining traction. Donald Trump donated $2,500 to my campaign in 2010. Instead of returning the contribution directly to him, I am doubling it and giving it to organizations that are doing important work to support and lift up immigrants who love our country and contribute to the California and American Dream. We should be supporting our immigrant communities, not tearing them down. I hope you will join me in supporting the work these organizations are doing”.
The wheels are falling off Donald Trump’s campaign: It truly is time he called it a day.
