‘The Steeple Times’ urges readers to support Kerry Needham’s new £5,000 crowdfunder to help find her missing son Ben Needham
Today, Kerry Needham – mother of Ben Needham, a 21-month-old who went missing on 24th July 1991 on the island of Kos in Greece – began a crowdfunder on JustGiving.com to raise £5,000 so she can increase the reward for information that could help find her son to £10,000.
Needham, unlike Gerry and Kate McCann – who’ve benefitted to the tune of £12.5 million in public money alone towards the search for their ‘disappeared’ daughter – is someone who has had to campaign by comparison virtually alone for justice for her child.
On JustGiving.com today, Kerry Needham announced:
“This year marks 30 years since Ben disappeared. We are raising £10,000 to offer as a reward for information leading to Ben. In 2016 South Yorkshire Police ruled Ben died in an accident. However, due to DNA analysis NONE of the items found can be linked to Ben. We need to find the truth and hope this reward will help someone do the right thing. Please help the Needham family who live this nightmare every day.”
“The first funding page raised over £5,000 thank you all so much. The second one is to hopefully raise the difference to offer a £10,000 reward for information leading to Ben. Thank you so much to everyone who has already donated. Please keep sharing.”
We urge readers to support the crowdfunder by clicking here. Even a small donation of just £10 could make a huge difference to the resolution of the search for a young man whose family truly deserve justice.
