Father of Martine Vik Magnussen again calls for his daughter’s wealthy Arabic suspected killer to face justice nine years after her death
Nine years have passed since Martine Vik Magnussen, after being caught on camera leaving Mayfair’s Maddox Club, was raped and murdered in Great Portland Street, London. Her suspected killer, a wealthy brat named Farouk Abdulhak has never been caught and, to this day, lives in luxury with his family in Yemen.
On Wednesday, Miss Magnussen’s Norwegian father, Petter, issued yet another appeal for justice through The Mirror. In his statement, he remarked:
“We never imagined nine years ago that we would be in this position today”.
“We had hoped that Farouk Abdulhak would by now have had the courage to return to the UK and allow for the legal processes to proceed”.
“Sadly that is not the case, he remains at large, hiding from justice and putting myself and my family through intolerable pain”.
“Martine was a beautiful daughter and our search for justice will never cease”.
The son of a wealthy businessman named Shaher Abdulhak, Farouk Abdulhak remains at large and due to Britain having no extradition agreement with Yemen continues to do as he pleases. It is shameful and wrong and despite repeated calls for him to return to the UK to face justice, he will likely never give himself up.

I agree with Rod (for once). That’s a rare thing.
Instead of focusing on an already dead person you should be campaigning with me and others for someone who could still be found. You should be helping dear Gerry and Kate McCann in their search for their beloved daughter Madeleine. It is wrong that you do nothing on your pages and that you even have dared to criticise their efforts and those of the good police who help the search. It is time to put this right. Maybe you should be out looking for Madeleine’s corpse and not writing such rubbish. She is as dead as the proverbial parrot, according to the sniffer dogs. The McCanns have not been cleared of involvement in the vanishing of the body and there is no evidence of an abduction.
Have you not considered the possibility that this young man could be innocent? The girl was robbed of jewellery, clothing, etc. Why on earth would a wealthy kid take that? He had no need for it. Perhaps he was hurt by the attackers too. Perhaps they tried to frame him. Something doesn’t make sense here. I think he could have fled out of fear he knew he might get framed.
If the scum bag was innocent, why wouldn’t he come back to the uk and clear his name?
He would be able to afford the best criminal lawyers in the land.

there should be a legal process to freeze and seize all assets on UK or European soil of that wteched family of Abdulhac , if they are wealthy , they surely have assets in banks and property abroad , likely in the UK.
If a member of his family dared enter the UK, they ought to be seized and imprisoned for harbouring a criminal. That would teach the sorry bunch.
It seems to have escaped most of the world’s notice (and ignored in the press) that there is a war going on in Yemen. And sadly, for the most part, innocent civillians are being killed and starved to death.
Look up the photos of some of the victims. They could rival those of the Ethiopian Famine. I am still angry at how the British government voted against a motion to cease the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia – despite what it has done to the country.
So while I support bringing the murderer of this poor lady to justice, he may not even be alive if his last known whereabouts were in Yemen.
