Range Rover totals a Porsche in Moore Street, Chelsea
The power of social media was illustrated this morning when two readers of The Steeple Times, Quirina Louwman and Edward Thomson, shared images of a Range Rover Sport parked in Moore Street, Chelsea.
The driver plainly wasn’t having a great day and given they managed to park on top of the bonnet of a Porsche, they certainly have redefined off-roading in Chelsea.
We recently featured Nathalie Pulford and her altercation with Speaker John Bercow MP outside the Gaucho Grill restaurant in nearby Sloane Avenue. Ms Pulford herself drives a very similar Range Rover and though we doubt this is hers, here again is yet another example of why “Chelsea tractors” are ill-suited to the streets of SW3.

However exciting it is to imagine that the Range Rover tried to fit into such a small space and ended up perched on the bonnet of the Porsche, sadly this is not what happened. Both cars were parked properly when a third vehicle hit the porsche’s rear with some considerable speed, consequently sending it flying into the back of the Range Rover. However, the culprit was a decent human being and confessed the mishap to the owners of the two other cars.
Either way, a prime example of why Chelsea Tractors should be banned.
