Sir Elton John goes public
Normally one determined to go to any length to defend his right to privacy, father of two Sir Elton John wrote a blog for The Hill on Tuesday about public conveniences.
In the article, titled ‘North Carolina governor’s ignorance of trans identity’, Sir Elton lambasted Governor Pat McCrory in relation to his support for “the discriminatory bill requiring public school students to use restrooms for the gender they were assigned at birth”.
Sir Elton made no reference to his titleless husband David Furnish in the article and he avoided mention of olive oil also. What will he go public on next?
