Tony Blair’s former home heads to auction for £35,000 less than he sold it for in 2010
Myrobella House in Trimdon Colliery, County Durham was Tony Blair’s constituency home between 1983 and 2007. It subsequently became the base of the Tony Blair Sports Foundation and was sold in 2010 for £275,000. It is now, once again, on the market but it is very much bucking the national trend and now has an auction guide of just £240,000.
Built in 1898, Blair bought the 4-bedroomed house for £30,000 in 1983 (the equivalent of £95,000 today) and hosted visits from world leaders including President George W. Bush in 2003. Bush landed in a Sikorsky Black Stallion helicopter in a nearby field and later enjoyed fish and chips at The Dun Cow pub in Sedgefield.
Launched on the market through Robinsons in February at a price of £285,000 but now offered for £45,000 less, Tony and Cherie Blair are probably not the vendors’ favourite people. If they sell for the guide price quoted, they’ll make a £35,000 loss.

The Blairs, a truly vile pair of human beings who sadly have done rather well for themselves, typical revolting labour socialists, Champagne lefties, worse than all of us righties, all they care about is lining their pockets! Blair needs to be put on the scrapheap, along with his piles of properties, all gained in no doubt rather dodgy business dealings, no wonder the house is selling for less money, imagine living where the Blairs did.

I know you all like something to laugh about……well, when the Blairs were negotiating to purchase the million brick – Wren designed house, Winslow Hall, they found, to their horror, that one of the conditions of the sale was that they were obliged to host the Boxing Day Meet of the local hunt.
