Halsey Minor takes viewers on a tour of the history of money
Halsey Minor is a pioneer. He founded CNET and created what is now Google Voice. Now, he’s on a new journey and in our Video of the Week, he takes viewers on a tour that shares not only the history of money but also introduces details about how his latest venture, Bitreserve, now supports gold.
In the 7:30 minute short, Minor not only shares information about how Bitgold works but also takes in everywhere from the British Museum in London to a vault full of gold in Zurich. After visiting the “home of money” in Izmir in Turkey, he makes reference to the disruptiveness and innovation his cloud money system is creating.
In the film, Minor states:
“Right now we’re on the precipice of an extraordinary transformation in technology. I honestly think this is the best moment Bitcoin has had to date. If it has a better one, it is going to be a hell of a ride”.
Gone indeed are the days that the public are prepared to put up with banks ripping them off so in what he’s done thus far with Bitreserve, Minor has created something rare: A change for the better.

Outstanding
Brilliant. He should do a whole programme on this for the BBC.
What a clever man. I am rarely impressed but I enjoyed watching this and it sounds very useful.
Nice!!Halsey. Ranks up there with C/Net; what appears to be Bluetooth, Grand Central (c) Minor Ventures; and now this. You are truly a natural entrepreneur. Grin. Hope all is well with you and your family.
Bye the way: there’s a street in Rockville, MD called Halsey Road. You probably arranged it with all the roads they ask us to adopt.
