“Made in Chelsea” wins a BAFTA
Made in Chelsea won a BAFTA last night for the Best Reality and Constructed Factual show. Many wondered why.
Some of our readers love this show, others hate it. That the majority of this E4 show is staged is most definitely bizarre but that most of it is shot in Shoreditch and St Paul’s is just ridiculous. That the show beat Lord Sugar to a BAFTA for his Young Apprentice more than anything amused many of us however.
On stage, one of the cast members, Spencer Matthews, commented: “Despite popular belief it takes time and effort to make a show like this”.
As they left the stage, Francis Boulle concluded:
“Who’d have thought you could win a Bafta just for being posh?”
As Francis Urquhart once said that: “You might very well say that, I couldn’t possibly comment”.

I went to the same school as Boulle: I would hardly describe it as posh
