Christian Candy and his wife Emily have named their twin daughters Monaco and Cayman. How terribly appropriate. His spokesman said he named Cayman after his favourite Porsche. Did no one think to tell him that the children are also thereby named after tax havens?
Sounds like some excessively entitled children are getting set up for trouble later in life.
They probably simply named their children after the places with which they are most familiar. I think it is hilarious. Their children, as they mature, may not share in that humor.
Could be worse. Where my wife works, people name their newborns names like ‘Female’ (pronounced feh-mah-leh) and shithead (pronounced sheth-theed). Now *those* kids are getting set up for trouble later in life!
