Described by Vogue as “England’s most eccentric dresser”, Daniel Lismore refers to himself as a “living work of art”. He is the creative director of the London based atelier Sorapol, has over 9,200 followers on Twitter and became the subject of an exhibition of 3,000 pieces from his wardrobe at SCAD FASH in Atlanta in January 2016. Of his unique style, this wildcard remarked: “For me, when you put on your clothes, it’s like you’re going out to war in the world… Clothes mean everything to me. The way I dress opens doors and it closes doors. It’s not just my image, it’s my whole identity”.

He is an inspiration and a fine young man. He is not afraid to show his character and he is non-conformist. I salute Daniel Lismore.
Ellie G….you are very naughty. I know you are being ironic about the poor young man, but don’t you see that you piss taking could upset Daniel?
He can’t beat or out do Michael Foot, nevertheless good effort by him.
Good for him! We need more character in this dull world.
From what I know, the UK has had a long experience in the world of eccentricity, particularly in dress. While individual expressions are not always an unallowed delight for this Yank, the underlying spirit most certainly is.
