The first ever American invited to be a premier dancer in Moscow’s Bolshoi Ballet, David Hallberg was born in Rapid City, South Dakota and “found inspiration through the films of Fred Astaire”. Hallberg has over 10,000 followers on Twitter and trained at the Arizona Ballet School, the Paris Opera Ballet School and the American Ballet Theatre. He has been described by The New York Times as “represent[ing] a physical idea the way that Michelangelo’s David did, a certain peak of physical perfection”.
