Palo Alto, California based Elizabeth Holmes quit Stanford University and made a $4.5 billion fortune as a health technology entrepreneur. Theranos, the company she founded in 2003 to “shape the future of lab testing” turned her into a self-made billionaire by the age of 30 and with elder statesmen including Henry Kissinger and George Shultz on her board, her sphere of influence is plainly great. Surprisingly, Holmes was described as “the female Mark Zuckerberg that Silicon Valley has been waiting for” in 2014 but is surprisingly afraid of needles.

A wonderful story.
Sounds like Hilary Clinton. And looks like her a bit …
Except that Hillary Clinton doesn’t have $4.5 billion.
Small point, but it is “Palo Alto,” not “Paolo” Alto. I was born there.
Thank you. We do make corrections when people rightly point out errors.
On this needle thing…I suspect it derives from schooldays when one formed a line and tried to get to the top of the queue to make sure the needle was not blunted after jabbing a score of boys ahead of you.
