This dandy dynasty of diplomats and collectors of motoring marvels are renowned on the international jet set. Diplomat H.E. Nunzio Alfredo D’Angieri was once termed “Arafats’s banker” and together with his sons Stefan and Teava are mostly definitely Belize’s answer to the Bijan family in terms of their unique sense of style.
They family own a 1952 Jaguar MK10 which had previously belonged to Fulgencio Batista and even exhibited a 1957 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith used in the 1981 film Arthur and restored under the direction of Hermès at Salon Privé in 2015.
Whilst ‘Pupi’ (as Nunzio is known to his friends) was once linked romantically to the late Diana, Princess of Wales, his sons’ conquests are said to have numbered Grace Kelly’s granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi and one-time Miss Italy Edelfa Chiara Masciotta. The trio also find time to enjoy polo, love precisely brewed smoked tea and count Fidel Castro, Sofia Coppola and HRH The Prince of Wales amongst their contacts and friends.
