The hostess of “the event of the season”, mother of six Lady Annabel Goldsmith’s summer garden party at her home, Ormeley Park on the edge of Richmond Park, is attended by the great and the good. The eponym for London’s most iconic nightclub of the 20th century, twice married Lady Annabel is a descendant of the Londonderry family and was named after her mother’s favourite song, Miss Annabel Lee. Of this striking social dynamo, Town & Country magazine concluded: “You don’t get a world-famous nightclub named after you for nothing”.
A fine choice.
Yeah.
An icon if you like
To me, she is as ‘iconic’ as Mother Theresa; the Dali Lama; the Pope and Gillian Trott all rolled into one.
Lady Annabel will conquer Margate and steal hearts, in the local casino. She is a Lady, the kind, Tom Jones sings about…………
Another of your utterly stupid remarks. What is wrong with you?
Fiona- You must read between the lines, it is probably to abstract for you to comprehend….
I struggled to spell the DL’s name
