This British actor describes himself as having a “short attention span” and someone with “absurdly big teeth” to his 400 Twitter followers. Aside from having played Atticus Aldridge in Downton Abbey, Hammersmith born Matt Barber appeared in the BBC’s The Heart of Thomas Hardy in 2007 and NBC’s Dracula in 2013. He was head boy at Bradfield College, trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and chronicles his skills as an amateur photographer on his official website.
A fine chap by all accounts and a jolly good actor.
Bradfield College has a big thespian connection. ..Lord Owen ( Gang of four David Owen ) Sir John Nott ( A true naturally funny man )…and Tony Hancock who showed promise as a comedian…
I like the look of this young buck.
I enjoy Downton Abbey very much. He is a good addition to the cast.
