“Slimming guru” Rosemary Conley’s luck changed in 2014 when her empire went into administration. Though her low-fat “Hip & Thigh Diet” regime was all the rage in the 1990s, newer “blockbuster” alternatives stole her mantle and her business, Quorn House Publishing – worth an estimated £13 million in 2006 – went down with losses of £850,000. Though dubbed a “hate figure”, Quorn, Leicestershire based Conley still has 12,000 followers on Twitter and “isn’t ready to retire”. We’d put money on a thinned down comeback.
A great choice Editor. She really deserves more press coverage as her books really did hit the nail on the head, and she’s been through the ringer and came out fighting with style. Onwards and upwards Rosemary !
What a stupid woman. She has let a lot of people down and you should not be celebrating her. Shame on you.
