So desperate was “exquisitely sensitive” Ruthann Aron to be a politician that she hired a hitman to deal with those who had hindered her prospects. An “obsessive” gun-lover who was described by her father (who was murdered in 1994) as “cruel”, Brooklyn born Aron made a fortune in real estate, unsuccessfully ran for the Republican United States Senate nomination for Maryland in 1994 and then sued one of her opponents for slander in 1996. She lost that case and then ordered a hit on the prosecuting lawyer and her own husband in 1997. Tried in 1998, Ruthann Aron was convicted and sentenced to two consecutive 18-month prison sentences. She was released in 2000 only to lose her son in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre on 11^th September 2001. Of her crimes, she once commented: “My mind did blow. I did crack up… [I did] the most unconscionable and the most unmentionable thing a human being can do”. Ruthann Aron now lives under another name in another state.

It should also be noted that despite her father having cut her out of his will, she tried to use his murder to her advantage by speaking about him in a speech just days after he was found slayed. Lady Macbeth had nothing on this bird!!!!!!!
