San Francisco born film producer and lover of lunches at Chateau Marmont Todd Traina is a graduate of Connecticut College. The founder of Red Rover Films, Traina has worked with Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson on Black Water Transit and Grace Is Gone with John Cussack. This son of a shipping magnate and one-time step-son of Danielle Steel compares being a producer to being “the father of the bride in a wedding that lasts a whole year”. In 2008, he “jokingly” told SFGate: “Most of my family and friends in San Francisco have no idea what I do – I think they think I sit around and have lunch all day” before adding: “It’s one thing to make an impact in your own life and path and work toward your personal goals. It’s another to work to impact other peoples’ lives”.
