One-of-a-kind 2012 Aston Martin shooting brake for sale for a staggering sum; it comes with all needed to build more examples
Aston Martins are the preserve of James Bond and the super-rich, but for someone with especially deep pockets a one-of-a-kind example could make for the perfect present this Christmas.
Based on the Rapide and built in 2012 on a donor platform, the Jet 2+2 car offered is a shooting brake that was created for an “adventurer, artist and driver of historic motorcars” named Barry Weir by Bertone in conjunction with Aston Martin.
Created as a result of Weir – a man whom “needs little sleep and never gives up” – needing a vehicle with “good head clearance” to “stop [his] hair brushing on the roof panel,” the silver with beige interior vehicle has covered 10,000 miles and comes with a full-size clay rolling model, tooling and designs – thus giving capability to build additional examples.
The 6-litre automatic car – registration ‘JET 2’ – is offered for £1.25 million ($1.63 million, €1.47 million or درهم5.99 million) by Classic Mobilia.
1.25 Mil!! you must be having a laugh!! Rip off!!!
