Wear a crown to Brasserie Zédel on 6th January and get a meal on the house
Brasserie Zédel, just off Piccadilly Circus, marked La Fête des Rois –the French celebration of Epiphany – last year by offering a meal on the house to those wearing a crown to their restaurant and yet again, on 6th January 2015 from 6pm, they will again repeat this celebration.
Owned by London’s most successful restaurateurs, Chris Corbin and Jeremy King, Brasserie Zédel is a “grand Parisian brasserie transported to the heart of London”. It is affordable and has been described by The Telegraph as “solidly good”.
Those wearing crowns on 6th January will receive three courses from the restaurant’s £19.75 ‘menu formule’ on the house as well as sharing a traditional ‘galette de rois’. Booking is advised though there will be some unreserved tables on the night for those prepared to wait.

What a fun idea. I’ll definitely be in the queue.
Jeremy King and Christopher Corbin are so clever when it comes to marketing. My wife and I shall certainly be going along to this event. It is a bargain.
The crown must go to the Peter Cussing Pub in Whitstable Kent. Steak night including a beer will set you back just over £8, with prices like that, who needs marketing. It pays to shop around.
