Champagne at Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland available for upto £2,000 a bottle
Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park opens to the public today. By far from a cheap outing, with tickets costing upto £14.50 per ride, this isn’t an event for the financially limited but we must admit we were surprised to see champagne priced at £2,000 per bottle.
Russian oligarchs and hedgies with the ability to purchase a 12 litre bottle of Laurent Perrier Balthazar are informed that they will be served in a reserved seating area that is available subject to availability. Billy Smart is no doubt turning in his grave.

Matthew is right. It’s a shame that the Royal Park is being exploited in this way. When WW started prices were accessible(hate that word) to families without a great deal of money: families who probably didn’t have a chance to have much fun ‘on the cheap’.
Like everything in London is become all about money.
Shocking.
