Chef Jamie Oliver thanks The Steeple Times copying in his 3 million Twitter followers
After the firestorm of comments today about this morning’s feature on Jamie Oliver’s remarks about food poverty and an article by a woman who describes herself as a ““freelance food-and-politics-gob”, we were delighted to receive a reply from the great man himself.
In a short tweet, Jamie Oliver stated:
“Thx for the support guys been nice to read”
We’ve invited Mr Oliver to complete our 20 question interview. He may or may not have the time, but if he does, it would indeed be what the chef used to term “pukka”.

Jamie is a living legend, could he explain why he is called the naked chef. His budget recipes are very helpful especially if you don’t have a pot to piss in. Esra siebra was a tight ass with our budget and refused to pay out money from our profits on food, during the days we operated a concession store in Botswana.
We used to do a lot of fishing and kept poultry. Esra had a awesome recipe for preparing gefilte fish, and knew how to do a potent peri- peri chicken. We also baked our own bread, leaving us with a unlimited budget to procure booze and fags.
Teach a man to fish and he will never go hungry again. I would like to teach you to prepare potjiekos.
In Botswana most cooks were naked, you would have blend in well.
Demonstrates that he is truly a Gentleman and of course, a fine chef. Well done to him for taking the time to respond.
