Bolly at the Belgraves

Belgraves offers 15 different champagnes by the glass

Champagne Diet author Lady Joan Oliphant Fraser will be delighted. Each Saturday and Sunday, the Belgraves hotel in Chesham Place, London is offering an impressive choice of 15 of their 25 champagnes by the glass.

Priced from just £13 glass, here’s a perfect suggestion for a way to start your weekend or to relax after hitting the Harrods sale or Sloane Street. As Lily Bollinger once said:

“I only drink champagne when I’m happy and when I’m sad. Sometimes I drink it when I’m alone. When I have company I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I’m not in a hurry and drink it when I am, otherwise I never touch the stuff unless I am thirsty”.

We can reliably bet that many of our readers will say cheers to this great offer.

    2. Frankly,I would prefer to buy the stuff from Majestic at a good price and drink it with one or two friends( I don’t have more) at my K’bridge flat. I would also share some of my stock of rather good foie gras which I buy from my local agriculteur in the Lot

    3. I really liked the bar at Belgrave’s, glad to have a new favourite in my neighbourhood , thank you Matthew for the drinks last night, a swell evening!
