Marco Pierre White puts a rude radio presenter in his place
We’re not quite sure what Australian breakfast radio presenters have been drinking this winter but they’ve certainly been causing a lot of offence.
First, a prank call by 2Day FM’s Michael Christian and Mel Greig to the private hospital that treated the Duchess of Cambridge is said to have been the trigger for the suicide of a receptionist. There was rightly uproar and now the presenter of another station, Triple M’s Dale “Louie” Lewis, was so rude to Marco Pierre White that he terminated the interview.
During the pre-recorded discussion, Lewis made about quip about Pierre White’s marriages and then stated:
“If you’re the rude prick you come across on TV, I wouldn’t be there long either.”
Pierre White rightly put this obnoxious nitwit in his place with the following response:
“Rudeness is not having fun and if it is, it’s at the expense of another person. You’re a very rude man and I hope your mother is not listening to this show today because she would not be proud of her son. Have a nice day, bye bye.”
We’d suggest that it’s time that Australian breakfast presenters be sent to etiquette lessons. It’s time the most of them learnt some manners.

Well said Marco. You floored him.
Marco should have given this man one with a meat cleaver.
Good lad!
The Great White always takes a big chunk when he strikes!!
Contrary to popular belief Marco is a very polite man. I met him once and he was charm personified. All that Hell’s Kitchen stuff is just for show.
Well done Marco.
Marco might be tricky and unpredictable but he is never rude or disrespectful in any way and although strict and sometimes grumpy should never be tarred with the same brush as Gordon Ramsey. Marco never uses bad language and underneath his perceived brittle mantle he actually is rather a sensitive and considerate person but never takes prisoners!
Who is killing the great chefs of Europe? Marco is the last of the great chefs, he has class and sophistication, decorum and intelligence. Gordon Ramsay is part of the lewd celebrity culture. Bravo Marco.
