Diners flock to ‘The Throttler’s Table’ at Scott’s
Last week The Sun revealed that Scott’s in Mayfair has been “inundated with requests” for the table where Charles Saatchi (allegedly) throttled Nigella Lawson.
A source told the paper:
“People are quite embarrassed to ask but it seems they want to get their picture taken as the spot where it all happened”.
Saatchi has been back to ‘The Throttler’s Table’ once in the time since the incident in June but Miss Lawson has so far opted to avoid it.
Of those who’ve also also dined at it recently, the most famous so far have been Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster. Whilst sat there, according to the Mail Online, they “cuddled, held hands and shared a joke”. Who’ll be next?

The best table in the land (IMHO) is the corner booth at Colbert on Sloane Square. London’s best people watching spot.
