Perhaps Jack Monroe could also date Russell Brand with the view to gain a degree of visible noticeable public exposure, Jemima Khan has just done that. There is no need to be acid tongued.

Strangely no one even bothers to defend her anymore. She has shown her true colours to you and that halo that shone around her has come back to bite her in the bum. Jack Monroe is a nasty piece of work. Well done for exposing her as such. I remember her from our youth. She was awful back then even.

Most civilised journalists who write for The Independent wouldn’t rant like Jack Monroe and issue vicious tirades as she has done to Matthew and others. She makes Katie Hopkins look like a pussy cat.
You’ve put her in second place to Lady Meyer…………She can’t be that bad…………. I suppose that she’s ahead of Katie Hopkins speaks volumes though……………….. She must be bloody awful.
Her recipe ideas seem alright but one thing’s for sure, she f**king loves hearing her own f**king voice. Who does she think she is? The new Anna Ryder Richardson? Challenge f**king Anneka?
@AJ Yes I went to school with her and kept in touch so not mates but I do know her and she had a quick temper back then but wasn’t nasty, just didn’t take crap from people !! Nice to see that nothing has changed really !!!

We expect a person who represents a national newspaper such as The Independent to have at least the minimum skills in negotiating and to be tactful in their interactions with other people, demonstrate some form of adequate problem solving ability, avoid unpleasantness and to be competent in handling delicate matters and situations.

We would expect higher standards from the Independent. It is a shame, that standards are at a all time low.
Miss Munroe did quite a service with her excellent ideas on feeding yourself on a VERY tight budget, however, she is far too emotionally entrenched in her opinions and take the slightest criticism as a mortal insult.
