Stuart Hall stripped of his OBE
As he faces further charges, convicted rapist and child abuser Stuart Hall has been stripped by the Queen of his OBE. Having had his sentence already doubled by the court of appeal, some might argue that this move was harsh but we wholeheartedly commend it.
Stuart Hall was an arrogant monster and the forfeiture of this particular honour should be just the beginning of the restitution he should face. The broadcaster, who was a fellow director with actor William Roache of companies owned by convicted rapist Owen Oyston, should be made to sell his £2 million home to compensate his eighteen victims. Some of them were as young as nine years old and his fortune is indeed what should next be Knocked Out.
