Where’s Ghislaine?

Could ‘Good Time Ghislaine’ Maxwell be living it up in Belgravia in the wake of the ‘suiciding’ of the billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein?

It’s not: “Where’s Wally?” this week, but more: “Where’s Ghislaine?” in the wake of the supposed suicide, ‘suiciding’ (or could it even be disappearance to WITSEC) of the monster Jeffrey Epstein.

Interestingly, a well-connected source of The Steeple Times yesterday contacted us and commented: “I hear ‘Madam Maxwell’ could be living in her late mother Elisabeth’s apartment in Lochmore House at the Cundy Street Flats in Belgravia. She hasn’t been seen popping out to Daylesford or La Poule au Pot, but there’s definitely some funny activity going on in the vicinity.”

Curiously the soon to likely be demolished Cundy Street complex of four blocks of flats has been scene to many a dalliance. In 1972, 25-year-old Camilla Shand invited Prince Charles back to her flat for coffee after an evening at Annabel’s and in another episode it was the scene of the “liaisons” of Lady Penelope Cobham and the former Tory politician David Mellor. Other residents have variously included Laura Lopes (née Parker Bowles), the Lord Chamberlain to the Queen from 2000 to 2006 Lord Luce and The Hon. Dame Shân Legge-Bourke, the mother of the former royal nanny Tiggy Legge-Bourke.

Spawn of the robber baron Robert Maxwell and a woman with a rather unfortunate boat (now no longer) named after her (that daddy just happened to also rather conveniently fall off the back of), Epstein’s 57-year-old “confidante” and alleged “recruiter” Ghislaine has allegedly been in London since her mentor’s arrest on 6th July. Tellingly, she has not been spotted in public.

This woman of “bombastic charisma” has since been featured in articles with titles such as: “Could Ghislaine Maxwell be the next to commit suicide?” and she has even been described as a woman “who would show up for the opening of a packet of gum.” Epstein was lauded as her “personal Walt Disney” and with him gone, what next for this Oxford educated criminal’s daughter turned paedophile’s protector?

Though this “man eater” could deservedly still face charges for her role in the sordid activities that she no doubt at least chose to turn a blind eye too at the very least, Miss Maxwell would now plainly do best to head to Siberia. This morning, the US attorney in New York, Geoff Berman, assured the “brave young women who have already come forward and … the many others who have yet to do so [that] our investigation of the conduct charged in the indictment – which included a conspiracy count – remains ongoing.”

“Woman adrift clinging on to whatever she could find” Ghislaine Maxwell may not yet be in a prison cell, but one thing is for sure: Her era of hobnobbing with the rich and powerful is most definitely and most deservedly finally over.

  1. I don’t want her in my neighbourhood. She will lower the tone. The new Duke of Westminster should turf her out. Property prices will sink with her in the vicinity.

  2. I think the authorities should be looking at charging Maxwell, here is an excerpt from the news today. Also some big names have been mentioned, including royalty.
Virginia Roberts said she was 16 when she met Ghislaine Maxwell, a one-time girlfriend of the billionaire financier.
“It kind of worked like a pyramid scheme,” Ms Roberts told the Miami Herald.
“Ghislaine brought me in, I brought other girls in, those girls brought other girls in, and no matter what, Jeffrey had that constantly open revolving door of young women, teenagers, children I like to call them, coming through his door for one purpose and one purpose alone.
“He didn’t care what he had to do to get that reaction from them, to get them to have sex with him.”
